STUFF I LOVE:

Live Music in a Small Venue

There's something about a tiny concert venue or a dive bar that feels like home. There's a family vibe to a room full of people who all love the same music. (Or maybe I've watched Almost Famous too many times.) Some of the happiest times in my heart involve live shows & local acts. The lead singer of The Heathens jumped off stage, took me into his arms, and danced with me. I fell in love with Fusebox Funk's ability to go from old school hip hop with "Underground Power" to melodic beauty covering "Glory Box." I got chills in a candlelit room with Terri Binion strumming "Sittin' Here Dreamin'." And I went wild at a Liz Phair show in an intimate Atlanta venue. Support local music & venues!
